2011-12: Appeared in six regular season games as a freshman, rushing for 274 yards and two TD's on 37 carries. He also caught seven passes for 120 yards and a TD...Scored his first career touchdown on a 12-yard run is his first game with the Huskies (09/09/2011 vs. Mount Allison).

2012-13: Named an AUS conference all-star (RB)...Appeared in all eight regular season games, finishing second in AUS rushing yards with 632 yards on 92 carries...Led the AUS conference in all-purpose yards with 1,017...Rushed for a career-high 208 yards on 12 carries in a 43-7 win over Mount Allison (10/05/2012).

2013-14: Participated in the East West Bowl (05/10/2014 at Western University), catching three passes for 58 yards....Led the AUS conference in all-purpose yards for the second year in a row, with 1,079...Led the AUS conference with 589 punt return yards, including a 74-yard punt return for a TD in a Week 5 win over Acadia...Recorded his first career 100-yard receiving game, with 6 receptions for 104 yards in a 27-24 loss to Mount Allison (10/18/13).

2014-15: Selected in 6th round (#50 overall) of the 2015 CFL Draft by the Saskatchewan Roughriders...Participated in a CFL regional combine in Toronto (03/26/2015) where his performance secured him an invitation to the 2015 CFL National Combine the following weekend (Click here for Abankwah's Highlight Reel from CFL Combine)...Appreared in seven of eight regular season games, finishing with a team-leading 534 yards rushing and two TD's...Rushed for over 100 yards in three games, including a season-high 194-yard performance in Week 8 vs. Acadia.
