Dalhousie's Emma Carrier Clarke and UNB's Blake Kingston named East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athletes of the Week
Carrier Clarke captures seven gold medals to lead Dalhousie to a 24th straight title, while Kingston claims three individual golds and Swimmer of the Meet honours at the Bell AUS Swimming Championships.

Emma Carrier Clarke from the Dalhousie Tigers women’s swim team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 15, 2026.
A third-year kinesiology student from Toronto, Ont., Carrier Clarke led the Tigers to their 24th consecutive AUS women’s swimming title, capturing both Championship Swimmer of the Meet and AUS Swimmer of the Year honours.
She won gold in the 50-metre, 100-metre, 200-metre, and 400-metre freestyle events and anchored all three winning relay teams for a total of seven gold medals.
Carrier Clarke also helped set a new AUS record as part of Dalhousie’s 400-metre medley relay team.

Blake Kingston from the UNB REDS men’s swim team has been named the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 15, 2026.
A fifth-year engineering student from Charlottetown, P.E.I., Kingston won three individual gold medals at the Bell AUS Swimming Championships in St. John’s, N.L., and was named Swimmer of the Meet for his efforts.
He finished first in the 50-metre freestyle and 100 and 200-metre breaststrokes. In the 100-metre breaststroke, he bettered his own AUS record.
In the 50-metre breaststroke, Kingston was a close second, finishing just 1/10th of a second back of teammate Matthew de Goey.
Kingston also swam key legs in two relays in which UNB earned silver medals.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, each East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week will receive a $50 ECL gift card and a signed certificate, courtesy of East Coast Lifestyle and Atlantic University Sport.
