(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Dalhousie Tigers spoiled the Memorial Sea-Hawks home opener with a straight set victory on Saturday night at the Field House. Set scores were 25-19, 25-22 and 25-16.
Kristen O'Brien had nine kills and seven digs to lead the Tigers to victory. Jonathan MacDonald had 25 assists for Dalhousie.
Senior middle Nathan Tilley led the Sea-Hawks with nine kills in the loss.
The Subway Players of the Game were Josh Ennis for Memorial and MacDonald for Dalhousie.
