X-Women top 2025 AUS Women’s Cross Country Preseason Coaches’ Poll
(HALIFAX, N.S.) Coming off their 2024 AUS championship season and four consecutive conference titles, the STFX X-Women will begin 2025 ranked No. 1 in the AUS Women’s Cross Country Preseason Coaches’ Poll after collecting 49 points and seven first-place votes.

Dalhousie takes the No. 2 spot with 41 points, followed by the UNB REDS in third with 38 points and one first-place vote. The UPEI Panthers are fourth with 29 points.
The Memorial Sea-Hawks (fifth, 23 points) and the Acadia Axewomen (sixth, 16 points) sit in the middle of the pack, while the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues and the Saint Mary's Huskies are tied for seventh with 14 points apiece to round out the preseason rankings.
The 2025 season gets underway Saturday with the first invitational meet of the season being hosted by UNB in Fredericton. The women's race is set for 11:30 a.m. AT, followed by the men's at 12:30 p.m. AT.
