Quarterfinal Schedule Confirmed for 2026 Bell AUS Women’s Hockey Championship
St. Thomas, Moncton, UPEI and Saint Mary’s battle for the right to face STFX and UNB in the semifinals.
(HALIFAX, N.S.) The road to the 2026 Bell AUS Women's Hockey Championship begins this week as the conference's quarterfinal round gets underway with two best-of-three series.
The third-seeded St. Thomas Tommies (18-8-0-2) will take on the sixth-seeded Moncton Aigles Bleues (12-11-2-3) in Quarterfinal Series A, while the fourth-seeded UPEI Panthers (16-9-3-0) face the fifth-seeded Saint Mary's Huskies (14-10-0-4) in Quarterfinal Series B.
The winners will advance to next week's semifinals, where they will meet the conference's top two seeds — the first-place and defending champion STFX X-Women (22-5-0-1) and the second-place UNB REDS (20-6-1-1), who earned a bye through the quarterfinal round. UNB enters the postseason as the 2025 AUS runners-up.

The conference has one berth at nationals, which will be awarded to the AUS champion. The 2026 U SPORTS Women's Hockey Championship will be hosted by the University of Waterloo, March 19–22.
