Colley nets 22 in the Huskies 85-62 win over UNB
(HALIFAX, N.S.) - CIS all-time career scoring leader Justine Colley poured in 22 points for the CIS No. 2-ranked SMU Huskies, as they defeated the visiting UNB Varsity Reds 85-52 in AUS women’s basketball action Saturday evening at the Homburg Centre in Halifax.

Saint Mary's had the hot hand all night and used a 11-0 first quarter run to build a 15-2 lead with 3:51 left in quarter.
UNB scored 10 points late in the quarter, yet the Huskies held a 26-12 lead thanks to their three three-pointers in the frame.
Saint Mary's continued hitting three-pointers and added four more in the second quarter to push their lead to 44-25 at half.
The third quarter saw the Huskies up 70-40 and 85-52 after forty minutes.
Rachelle Coward added 15 points, Laura Langille had 13 points and Carlie Nugent added 11 points for the Huskies.
Also scoring for Saint Mary's were Becky Nash with eight points, Emily Jameson with six points, Alexandra Smye with five points, Angelina Carvery with four points and Katrina Murrell with a foul shot.
Colley leads the AUS with a 20.8 points per game average and Coward is second, averaging 19.8. Both players are third and fourth in CIS scoring respectively.
Grace Wade had 12 points and Tilley Ettinger had 10 points for UNB, who fall to 4-14 on the year. The Varsity Reds return to action Feb. 21 when they host the Cape Breton Capers.
Saint Mary's improves to 18-0 in AUS play and sits alone in first place. They next host the Memorial Sea-Hawks Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
