Sea-Hawks earn weekend sweep with 78-70 win over X-Women
(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Memorial Sea-Hawks earned their second win of the weekend by a score of 78-70 over the StFX X-Women on Sunday in AUS women’s basketball action at the Field House.

(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Memorial Sea-Hawks earned their second win of the weekend by a score of 78-70 over the StFX X-Women on Sunday in AUS women's basketball action at the Field House.
Sandra Amoah took charge for the Sea-Hawks with an impressive 16-point performance in Sunday's game. Amoah took home Subway Player of the Game honours for her effort.
Rookie Sydney Ezekiel added 14 points and six assists while Kelia Pond added 13 points.
Lia St. Pierre had a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds for StFX. Lindsay Lessard was named Subway Player of the Game for the X-Women with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Sea-Hawks improve to 2-4 on the season while StFX falls to 1-5.
The Sea-Hawks will break for the semester, and return to regular season action in the new year. Their first action of 2014 will be Jan. 11 in Wolfville against the Acadia Axewomen.
StFX will visit the Axewomen Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. in their second last game of this semester.
