(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Memorial Sea-Hawks used a big fourth quarter run to defeat the St. FX X-Women 61-52 in AUS women’s basketball at the Field House in St. John’s. The Sea-Hawks finished the game on a 13-2 run.

A Megan Robinson three-pointer with 3:17 to play ignited the run to make the score 51-50 for Memorial.
Robinson would finish with 20 points and five rebounds to earn Subway Player of the Game honours for Memorial. Sandra Amoah chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Rookie Sydney Stewart gave the Sea-Hawks a spark off the bench with nine points, eight rebounds and four steals.
Lia St. Pierre had a big game in defeat for the X-Women with 17 points and 17 rebounds. Kolbi Roper added 15 points and eight rebounds. St. Pierre was named the Subway Player of the Game for StFX.
