Huskies hold on for 1-0 victory in the rain
(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Saint Mary’s Huskies scored the only goal of the game in the fourth minute of play as they earned a 1-0 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks in AUS men’s soccer action Sunday.

(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Saint Mary's Huskies scored the only goal of the game in the fourth minute of play as they earned a 1-0 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks in AUS men's soccer action Sunday. Both teams had to deal with torrential rains, which intensified in the second half.
Saint Mary's fifth-year midfielder Rodrigo Faria del Carvalho scored the game winner in the fourth minute of play.
Memorial got some chances late in the game but could not get one past Saint Mary's keeper Adam Miller. Miller, a fourth-year from Swindon, England, earned the shutout.
Saint Mary's will next see action Friday evening when they host Université de Moncton.
Memorial will be off next weekend but will travel to New Brunswick for their annual three-game road trip from Sept. 20-22 when they play UNB, Moncton and Mount Allison.
