Quarterfinal Schedule Confirmed for 2026 Bell AUS Men’s Hockey Championship

The road to the 2026 Bell AUS Men's Hockey Championship begins this week as the conference's quarterfinal round gets underway with two best-of-three series.
The third-seeded Acadia Axemen (17-8-1-4) will face the sixth-seeded STFX X-Men (14-13-0-3) in Quarterfinal Series A, while the fourth-seeded Saint Mary's Huskies (16-10-1-3) take on the fifth-seeded UPEI Panthers (17-13-0-0) in Quarterfinal Series B.
The winners will advance to next week's semifinals, where they will meet the conference's top two seeds — the first-place and defending champion UNB REDS (20-8-2-0) and the second-place Moncton Aigles Bleus (19-9-1-1). UNB enters the postseason having won seven consecutive AUS men's hockey titles, while Moncton finished as last season's conference runner-up. Both UNB and Moncton received byes through the quarterfinal round.

The AUS has three berths at the 2026 U SPORTS U Cup, which will be hosted in Halifax by Saint Mary's, March 19–22. As host, the Huskies receive one automatic berth. The remaining two spots will be awarded to the AUS champion and the other AUS finalist.
If Saint Mary's advances to the AUS final, a best-of-three consolation series will be held to determine the conference's third representative at nationals.
