Other Comments: The Tigers lost their last three games by a heart-breaking total of 5 points. They will need to start locking teams down on defense because offense could be hard to come with lack of a pure three-point shooter and a dynamic athlete.

Coaches Comments: The overall youth of the team provides for a bright future, but our expectation is to improve every day, especially on the little things, and hopefully, by March, be in the playoff hunt. 

Really, our record does not reflect the degree of improvement we have made to this point in the season. Our team defense and transition game has improved considerably since early October. 

Offensively, our strength has been our post play led by Devon Stedman and Kashrell Lawrence, both of whom are in the top 5 in AUS scoring.

To become a play-off contender we have to become a more balanced team offensively and we must count on more consistency from Jarred Reid, Simon Marr and Ritchie Kanza Mata. 

With more consistency off the bench, I feel confident that we can turn our record around.

The coaching staff constantly stresses reducing turnovers and more toughness on the boards and it is in these two areas where we must improve if the playoffs are going to be a possibility. 

Our team chemistry is our greatest asset and with a commitment to improving every day, I am optimistic about being in the hunt come March. - Rick Plato, Head Coach
