
(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - Vasilije Curcic's 28 points led the Memorial Sea-Hawks to a 83-78 upset win over the UPEI Panthers in AUS men's basketball on Saturday night at the Field House.
The 6-foot-9 sophomore forward added 12 rebounds and seven assists to lead Memorial to the win.
Third-year forward Caleb Gould added 18 points and 14 rebounds in the win for Memorial.
Noel Moffatt added nine points for the Sea-Hawks off the bench to give the team a spark. Curcic was named Subway Player of the Game for the Sea-Hawks.
Ellis French had 23 points for the Panthers including four three-pointers.
UPEI led 45-44 at the half.
Memorial are now 3-14 on the season. UPEI's record fell to 10-8.
