Receiver Shawn White of the #3-ranked Saint Mary's Huskies is the Atlantic University
Sport Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 21st, 2008. In Friday
night's 50-20 win over the visiting Mount Allison Mounties, White was named player of the
game as he caught five balls for 107 yards and two TD's in the victory. Shawn's TD
receptions both came in the thrid quarter from 25 yards and 56 yards respectively as the
Huskies overcame a 20-10 halftime deficit. White is a fifth year student from Montreal,
PQ.

Defensive back Callan Exeter of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University
Sport Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 21st, 2008. Exeter, a
second year student from Ajax, ON, recorded 16.0 tackles (10 solo, 12 assisted) in Friday
night's road loss to the Saint Mary's Huskies to establish a new single-game conference
record for tackles. The previous record of 15.0 was shared by former Mountie Matt Harding
(2005) and StFX's Mike McCullough (2000). Callan also added a five yard interception
return and 1.5 tackles for a loss in the game. Exeter currently leads the Atlantic
conference (2nd in CIS) with 29.0 tackles through three games this season.

Saint Mary's receiver Jahmeek Murray is the Atlantic University Sport Special Teams
Player of the Week for the week ending September 21st, 2008. Murray, a first year student
from Mississauga, ON, picked up a total of 156 return yards in Friday night's 50-20 win
over the Mount Allison Mounties. Jahmeek returned three kickoffs for a total of 72 yards
and eight punts for 84 yards in the victory. Murray currently leads the conference in
kickoff return yardage with 285 yards in three games, averaging a league-high 23.8 yards
per return. He ranks second in punt return yardage with 158 yards, for an average of 11.3
per return.
